Christopher Barnett

Christopher Barnett is the youngest person on the ballot. Chris supports our Police, Fire Fighters, First Responders, Veterans and Active Service members.  Christopher Barnett is the owner of several small business located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is married to George (Trey) William Barnett III. They have been married for over 2 years. They are the proud owners of 3 dogs and 5 rabbits. They hope one day to adopted kids and be able to provide them a safe and loving home.  Christopher is a candidate of the people. He has experienced many hardships and discrimination and isn’t afraid to stand up for himself and others. Chris doesn’t back down from a fight especially when he believes in the cause. He believes in the people of Oklahoma and wants to give them the tools to succeed in what they do and give the education system the tools they need to educate the future of Oklahoma.

Dan Fisher


Republican| Yukon | Minister | Married, 2 Children, and 4 Grandchildren

Dan grew up in Arkansas and felt God’s call to the ministry at a very early age. By the time he was 23, he was already serving as a full-time pastor. Forty-one years after preaching his very first sermon, Dan continues to serve in the ministry as the senior pastor of Liberty Church, Yukon, OK. He and his wife, Pam, have been married for 36 years and have two children and four grandchildren. Fisher also served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives for two terms.

Eric Foutch

Eric is a native Oklahoman and U.S. Air Force Veteran. Eric and his wife Jennifer married in 2004 while serving in the Air Force together. Their marriage has produced four children, 3 girls and 1 boy. Upon returning to Oklahoma from the service Eric became a Native American Educator for McLoud Public Schools.

Kevin Stitt

Kevin Stitt is a Republican candidate for governor who is with a vision to be Top Ten in growth, education, infrastructure, healthcare, and government efficiency. Stitt is an Oklahoman entrepreneur and businessman who founded Gateway Mortgage in 2000 with $1,000 and a computer. Stitt has grown Gateway into a nationwide mortgage company that today employs 1,200 people, has 164 field offices in 41 states, and holds a loan servicing portfolio of more than $16 billion.. Stitt is a fourth-generation Oklahoman, raised in Norman where his dad was a pastor and spent many summers as a youth in Skiatook where his grandfather owned a dairy farm. Stitt graduated from Norman High School and worked his way through Oklahoma State University by selling books with the Southwestern Company. Stitt is a man driven by faith and family. He has been married to his wife, Sarah, for nearly 20 years and together they have six children and live in Tulsa.

Todd Lamb


Republican| Oklahoma City | OK Lieutenant Governor | Married, 2 Children

Todd Lamb, an Enid native, and Monica, a school teacher, have been married 22 years and have two children, Griffin and Lauren. Lamb is a former U.S. Secret Service special agent. As a special agent, Lamb was responsible for developing detailed plans, and contingency plans. Lamb’s private sector experience includes working as a petroleum landman and as an executive in the telecommunications industry. Lamb was elected to the State Senate in 2004 and as Lt. Governor in 2010. The Lambs attend Quail Springs Baptist Church where Todd serves as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

Barry Gowdy

Gowdy is former 30 year paramedic turned a nurse for the last 18 years, some of that time spent in the ER and ICU. He received a degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU).

Blake Stephens


Republican| Tahlequah | Educator | Married, 2 Children, 2 Grandchildren

Blake is the middle child of John and Evelyn Stephens; he was raised with his two sisters on a farm outside of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Blake met his wife Kathy at OSU in Stillwater, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education. He previously attended NEO A&M in Miami, where he received an Associate’s Degree. Blake later went on to attend NSU in Tahlequah, earning both a Master’s of Education in Secondary School Counseling and Elementary School Counseling. Blake and Kathy have two grown children, Sarah and Joshua, and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Annie. He has worked for Locust Grove School district as a counselor for the past 21 years, at different school sites as necessary.

Gary Jones


Republican | Cache | State Auditor and Inspector | Married

Gary was born at Fort Sill August 27, 1954, the fifth of seven children. Gary’ family, like most military families, moved a lot, and he also attended school in Coleman, Texas, and Hanau, Germany. He returned to Lawton, attending Eisenhower Jr. High and graduating from Eisenhower High School in 1972. At age 20, Gary became a manager for Southwestern Bell, becoming one of the youngest managers in company history. After earning his Bachelor’s at Cameron University, he later started his own business, and was also elected as a Comanche County Commissioner in 1994, serving 4 years. After that, he worked and became CPA in 2000, and later became a Certified Fraud Examiner. Gary later served as Oklahoma Republican Party Chairman for 2004 and 2008 cycles. He resigned his position in 2010 to make a third attempt at being elected State Auditor & Inspector, winning that time, and was re-elected in 2014. Gary and his wife, Mary Jane, have been married 40 years and live on their farm southwest of Cache where they raised two children, and have three wonderful grandchildren.

Mick Cornett


Republican | Oklahoma City | Former OKC Mayor | Married

A 5th generation Oklahoman, and the son of a postal worker and a school teacher, Mick was born and raised in Oklahoma City. After graduating from Putnam City High School and earning a journalism degree from the University of Oklahoma, he began his 20-year career in broadcast journalism, where he served as a reporter, anchor, and manager. He later earned a Master’s in Business Administration from NYU. After leaving his career in the news industry, Mick ran for Oklahoma City Council in 2001 against a two-term incumbent, winning on a platform of fiscal conservatism. In 2004, he was elected Mayor of Oklahoma City and was re-elected three times, serving fourteen years. Mick is married to Terri (Walker) Cornett and has three sons and four granddaughters, who are seventh-generation Oklahomans.

Gary Richardson


Republican | Tulsa | Attorney | Married

Gary Richardson was born in Caddo, Oklahoma. The son of a cotton sharecropper, his family when he was young moved to Texas, where he later graduated high school in 1959. He then attended what is now Southern Nazarene University, and later earned his law degree at South Texas College of Law. He eventually moved to Muskogee to serve as an assistant district attorney.  After two congressional race losses while there, President Reagan appointed him as a U.S. Attorney. During his tenure, Gary and the two other U.S. Attorneys in Oklahoma tackled the county commissioner scandal, convicting 210. Gary eventually returned to private law practice, authored four books, and ran for Governor in 2002 as an Independent. He has three grown children, and he and his wife, Lanna, live in Tulsa. They are active members of South Tulsa Baptist Church, and together they have five children and eleven grandchildren.

Drew Edmondson


Democrat | Oklahoma City | Attorney; Former AG of OK | Married

Upon graduation from college, Drew enlisted in the United States Navy, where he reached the rank of Petty Office Second Class and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. While in the Navy, he earned the Joint Service Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. His first job after the war was as a speech and debate teacher at Muskogee High School. He was elected to the legislature in 1974 for a term, and he graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law in 1978. He became Chief Prosecutor for the Muskogee County District Attorney’s office in 1982, and was elected District Attorney the same year, serving there for over a decade. He was elected Attorney General in 1994, and was re-elected three times. He left office in 2011 after losing the Democratic nomination for Governor the previous year, and has been in private law practice since.

Connie Johnson


Democrat | Forest Park | Counselor; Former OK State Senator

Senator Connie Johnson recently retired after serving thirty-three years in the State Senate, representing the east side of Oklahoma City. Johnson made state history as the first woman and African American to win the U.S. Senate nomination for a major political party. Johnson is the immediate past Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party, and was the Chair of the Oklahoma Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, where she led the statewide campaign against State Question 776. Johnson was born in Holdenville, OK, and has lived in Dustin, Idabel, Oklahoma City, Stella, and Forest Park.  She is the mother of three adult children, and grandmother of two. She graduated from Frederick A. Douglass High School in Oklahoma City, the University of Pennsylvania, and Langston. She is a lifelong member of The Church of the Living God.

Chris Powell


Libertarian | Bethany | Marine Veteran; Party Activist | Married

Raised in Oklahoma County and the youngest of five, he learned the value of self-sufficiency and hard work at an early age. After meeting his wife and marrying in 1994, he moved to Bethany where he became active in Libertarian politics, having previously served as the state party chair. He has been active in civic affairs and works to protect and promote the rights of the people of the state of Oklahoma and to preserve their individual freedom.

Rex Lawhorn

Born in Kansas, Rex has traveled all over the world as an adult to finally set up roots in Tulsa with other members of his family. A 16-year Tulsan, Rex has worked in various jobs and industries. Currently located in Broken Arrow, Rex has involved himself in state and federal politics as an activist, Americans Elect party chairman, current Oklahoma State Director for the Our America Initiative, and as a plaintiff in Lawhorn vs. Ziriax to update ballot access law and various other grassroots causes. He was previously a Democrat and a Republicans, but he found a home with the Libertarian Party of Oklahoma.

Joe Exotic


Libertarian | Wynnewood | Tiger Zoo Owner | Married

Joseph A. Maldonado “Schreibvogel” was born in Garden City, Kansas in 1963, and later moved to Wyoming and Texas, the latter of which is where he served as a police officer before an accident deprived him of serving in that capacity in 1985. In 1986 Joe went to work for an exotic pet store called Pet Safari’s in Arlington, Texas, where Joe became a co-owner of the store just months later. After becoming co-owner, Joe became licensed by the Federal Department of Agriculture and began a life working with a variety of exotic species. It grew to be the largest exotic pet store in the Texas. After a car accident that killed his brother, in 1997 he moved to Oklahoma and established his exotic pet zoo in Wynnewood. Over the past two decades, he and his associates have made the park one of the largest accredited facilities in the world of its kind. He has served an Oklahoma’s animal response team for emergency disaster services, and has travelled teaching proper exotic pet care. Currently, Joe is the entertainment director of the zoo, the largest private zoo for tigers in the world, housing nearly 220.
