Donald Chasteen

Donald Chasteen was born and raised in Inola, graduating from high school there.  In his professional life, he has been a firefighter for the Tulsa Fire Department, and after his service there, became a businessman and Shelter Insurance Agent in his hometown. He has previously led the Chamber of Commerce in Inola, as well.

Glen Mulready

Glen Mulready is long-time Tulsan who grew up as one of seven children in a working-class family. He has been in the insurance industry since 1984, becoming an executive for the two leading health insurance companies in Oklahoma before he went to a smaller insurance provider, Benefit Plan Strategies, in 2007. He ran for office in 2010, winning election as a state representative and winning re-election three times. He authored several piece of major insurance legislation, and was Chair of the house Insurance Committee during his tenure. He has volunteered in myriad ways in Tulsa, including with Big Brothers Big Sisters which earned him the Paragon Award from Leadership Tulsa. He also has been a foster parent and a youth director for his church. He and his wife, Sally, have three teenage sons: Sam, Jake, and Will.

MEET THE DEMOCRATS

Kimberly Fobbs

Democrat | Tulsa | Insurance Executive| Married

Kimberly Fobbs was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 8, 1965. After high school, she left to head west for college, attending UT-Austin and TU. She became an executive at MetLife, and then moved over to Luzxa Enterprises. She also runs two small businesses. Beyond myriad volunteer efforts in the community, she served for four years on the Oklahoma Judicial Nominating Commission from 2009-2013. She has previously run for office twice, once for State Representative in 2006, and once for State Senate in 2016, losing in the general both times. She became Tulsa County Democratic Party Chair in early 2017, and will remain the county chair during this election campaign.
